Artemide Eclisse Table Lamp PVD
Thé Eclisse, designed by Italian Vico Magistretti in 1965, won the Compasso d'Oro in 1967 and became its representative of Italian design in the world. Eclisse is a foreground balance of form and function, design and usability. The basis of the concept lies in the control functionality of the light intensity through its internal rotating lampshade that "obscures" the light source. Indeed, with a fixed outer shell and a movable inner shell, the lamp can provide direct or diffused light. The lamp looks great on the table, but can also be mounted on the wall. It contains a metal housing lacquered available in white, red, yellow or orange (classic version) or in shiny chrome, black, copper or gold (PVD version) with on/off button. The Eclisse is part of the permanent exhibition collection of major design museums, including the MoMA in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
